The Camden Neighborhood Association proudly announces the 2023 Holiday Decorating Contest! Show your Camden pride, celebrate the holiday seasons, and bring some much-needed beauty to the last months of 2023!
All Camden Park and Camden Passage homes can register to participate.

Details, Rules, Registration - Holiday Decorating Contest
Thank you for participating in the Camden Neighborhood Association 2023 Holiday Decorating Contest!
Participating homes’ addresses will be listed under each category on a voting form available for download/online to those looking to drive the neighborhood and cast their votes.
Choose 1 category that best describes your exterior holiday decoration style. Entry submissions through (new date) 12/24. Voting will take place 12/26-12/29 closing at 8 pm on the 29th (new dates). Winners announced 12/30.
5 categories to choose from:
1) Best Animation and/or display of lights with music- Do you have lights that twinkle to music? Or animated holiday characters? This is the category for you! (Please remember to respect your neighbors and turn off music by 9pm nightly)
2) Best Inflatables! Do you love to decorate with those cute holiday inflatables that tickle our little kid funny bones? This is the category for you!
3) Most Traditional - Keeping it old school with lights around the eaves, in the trees and wreaths on every door? This is the perfect category for you.
4) Ever “GREEN” – Best display of LED lights and RECYCLED materials to create true earth friendly outdoor holiday decorations
5) Griswold Award! Light, Lights and more Lights! What Camdenite will win the Clark Griswold award! We know there will be a few contenders for sure!
Before voting commences, you will be given a yard sign (Tuesday 12/26), to display with your entry category and number to be used during the drive-by voting.
Each category will have a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winner (where applicable).
1st place receives $100 cash and $50 in Gift Cards
2nd place receives $75 cash and $25 in Gift Cards
3rd place receives $50 in Gift Cards
RULES: Only residents of Camden Passage and Camden Park are eligible to register their decorated home please.
Each home registered is expected to show their Camden spirit and pride by decorating the outdoor of their homes appropriate to category chosen. Once registered and category selected, homes may not change their category. Each home will be judged separately.
More information (The important stuff): Complete your outdoor decorations by December 24th. Votes for the favorite homes in each category can be cast by ALL of Elk Grove by driving through our neighborhoods December 26– 29th and casting their votes through our on-line link until 8 pm on the 29th. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each of 5 categories will be announced via the CNA social media accounts on December 30th. Each winning place in each category will receive cash and gift cards (supporting Elk Grove businesses) prizes.
The CNA Board reserves the right to modify conditions as deemed necessary.
